The welded cast aluminum cage, the cast aluminum mounting base and polycarbonate lens assembly combine to form a rugged, vandal-resistant, aesthetically pleasing luminaire. A cast aluminum finial tops the lantern (available with fiber optic photocontrol option). All hardware is corrosion-resistant or stainless steel.
REFLECTOR: HID lamp options use a precision formed microfinished reflector tower, in conjunction with the upper dome reflector, full cutoff reflector technology. LED options use a precision hydroformed reflector in the hood. It can be ordered in both a Type III and Type V distribution.
LENS: Standard is a polycarbonate injection-molded diffuser allowing for a uniform lighting distribution. Metal Halide luminaires can be ordered in high impact acrylic lenses to reduce yellowing.
ELECTRICAL: Standard 120 volt 60hz reactor-type ballast. Multivoltage ballast available. Utilizes mogul-base lamp in a glazed porcelain 4KV pulse-rated socket. All luminaires come pre-wired and are factory tested. It is manufactured to meet UL standard 1598 for wet locations.
LED Option Light Engine: It’s unparalleled light engine design is the best in the industry. Engineers have developed a heat dissipating technology that increases LED life dramatically. Best of all they produce up to a continuous 9000 lumens per engine light source (72w version). The luminaire is manufactured to meet the 1598 UL listing. All luminaires are pre wired and factory tested. The LED engines operate from 120 volts to 277 volts.
